Pollinator Discovery Trail

  • 75 Bells Road Auckland, Auckland, 2010 New Zealand (map)

Set out on a hunt in the gardens at the Howick Historical Village!

Find hidden emblems of birds, bees, and other insects and learn about their vital role as pollinators in our ecosystems in a pocket guide that is yours to keep.

Created by the Village’s heritage gardener Luke Southern, each piece has been handcrafted in wood with pyrography (woodburning).

Lots are interactive games and challenges kids will love to solve.

Bring a picnic or grab something from the cafe, enjoy the peaceful setting, explore the Village, and make a day of it!

Free with admission. Adult $16, senior/student $13, child $8, child under 5 – free.
