Pollinator Eco Discovery Trail

  • 75 Bells Road Auckland, Auckland, 2010 New Zealand (map)

This summer, set out on a discovery trail through the gardens at the Howick Historical Village!

Find hidden emblems of birds, bees and other insects and learn about their vital role as pollinators in our ecosystems. Created by the Village’s heritage gardener Luke Southern, each piece has been handcrafted in wood and is referenced in a pocket guide that is yours to keep. Fascinating and interactive fun for young and old alike!

Bring a picnic and enjoy the peaceful setting, explore the Village and make a day of it! Outdoor games and crafts will be out every day, as well as activities such as Butter-making and Wash Day.

Free with admission. Adult $14, senior/student $12, child $10, child under 5 & annual pass holders free. Please see the website for the details of the week’s activities.
